Leather & Heart launched in July 2018. Leather & Heart began with the creation of leather cuffs which are handcrafted from upcycled/repurposed leather belts. I enjoyed giving new life to leather and designing the next artistic statement. The greatest joy for me occurs when I am commissioned to create a leather cuff or key ring from a leather belt of a family member that has passed. This custom cuff or key ring will now hold strong sentimental value for that client. The client now carries memories of that loved one that will last a lifetime. Over time, I began to handcraft leather earrings, leather necklaces, leather hair slides, gypsum trinket trays and gypsum home decor.

I have always been a crafter at heart (hence, Leather & Heart). Creating personalized items for family and friends for special occasions always came naturally to me. Extending my love of crafting to others was the next natural step. I enjoy leather and its durability. Combining leather and personalization of a leather piece allows me to create a timeless piece of jewelry.

I am most proud of my company because of the solid foundation of artistry, customer service, and personalization that comes with every piece of jewelry or specialty item. Sourcing the best quality product (s) for each item created for my clients allows them to trust that they will be wearing the most sustainable material for years to come.
